# Todoist Setup

This can only be done on the web

1. Head to todoist.com
2. Click on your profile picture
3. Once in that drop-down click the settings button
4. Scroll down till you see integrations and then click
5. Towards the top of the screen click the "Developer" button
6. You should now see your API token
7. Copy the API token and past it into the "token" entry box
8. Click "Done" on StudySync
9. To find the ID of a section or project scroll to respected item

#### Section ID

To get the ID of the section follow the steps below

1. Head to the project with the section you want to use
2. Once in the project click the 3 dots of the section you want to use
3. Copy the link to that section
4. Paste that link into a new tab and click enter
5. The URL should look something like this

https://app.todoist.com/app/project/[project ID]#section-[section ID]
```

6. Copy the section ID
